My Worst Mistake

We were not a heavenly match
I itch and so I scratch
‘Til the skin begins to bleed
You weren’t a “want” but a “need”

All these pills don’t seem to help me emotionally
‘Cause I still feel this hurt you put on me
Pure regret, I can’t forget the way your tore my soul
My head is tight again, tonight; sadness spins me out of control

I write, still the truth eludes me for a while
High again, but thoughts of you wipe away my smile
I must remain in endless pain and it’s you that I must thank
Lied to me, and now I see, loving you was my worst mistake

This s the type of gal who truly was a big mistake -- one you're not likely to make again. You've grown, little brother. Love, Sis
