My Wonderland

"Once upon a time
There was a white blank page
Which could take you to places,
It took me where everything was to rhyme.
I was wandering-wondering,
contemplating-containing.
As I entered this dream
I was hesitant at first, In a moment
Which was swept away by a gust,
I could see a river that was flowing
And looked so serene.
All around everything was so bright
It was indeed a beautiful sight.
It's all a blur now, I wonder how?
As soon as the fog faded
It was no more bright.

Once upon a time
There was a white blank page
Which could take you to places,
It took me where everything was to rhyme.
I was in a gloomy space, It was different
But a familiar place.
There were threads laying all around,
I pulled one.
It was a pretty memory which I found,
Something was keeping me from going too close
It was my own shadow I suppose.
This was a mystic endless place
Which I found to seek solace.
I sensed some animosity in the air,
Why was it, I had no clue.
I realized, my ego was there too.
Everything started making sense out of the blue,
I was the one making it all happen,
I was the one who started it
Now following the same pattern.

Once upon a time
There was a white blank page
Which could take you to places,
It took me where everything was to rhyme.
The white page was filled with scribbles now,
I wondered how?
Retrospection of it was in vain,
I tried, I've always tried
But every time it gives rise to a new chain,
Bringing it all back, which is all the same.
It's fascinating how vivid it all seem,
if looking back at it, it was nothing but a dream.

Once upon a time
There was a white blank page
Which could take you to places,
It took me where everything was to rhyme.
Staring at that piece of paper,
Oblivious to the places it can take.
Oblivious to the places I travelled.
There was no memory of where I was,
there is no clue where I had just travelled.
The fate of this paper is to crumble,
Just so I return with something
To mumble."
