My Wish

I would travel back in time
And see Shakespeare on the stage,
Hear him speak his greatest lines,
Get his autograph.

Jack, I think "skyscrapers" originated in the U.S. It just means very tall buildings. We would consider the Eiffel Tower a skyscraper, even though it's in Paris. Love, Carolyn

that autograph would be worth a lot of money now,, I have always wanted to go back in time to get Sports cards and comic books, then bring them back here to sell, Back in the 50's i bought a mickey mantle card for 5 cents, now it is worth around 18,0000 dollars. sorry to go, but yoiur poem brought that to mind, it was a great piece, loved it. thank you for commenting on Just A Lonely Rose, the story you told me was really something.

Thanks for reading the rooster poem, Jack. Dane Ann actually held a contest for poems about roosters. She has them in her backyard and sells some of the eggs. I'm off now! Gotta get that book to you. I hope I can find a copy of the one by Susan Hill here in the states Love, Carolyn

Wow, Jack! Can I get in that time machine with you? How I'd love to meet the master of drama and verse! Great entry for the contest, my friend. Love, Carolyn
