My Wish

If you could make a wish come true
Do you know what you would do?
Would it be something for the family
Or would it be for you?

Just think about it for a while
And see what you decide.
I’m sure it will be a thoughtful choice
If you let your conscience be your guide!

Make it something real worthwhile
Nothing silly or mundane.
It’s going to be a one-time thing
Not likely to repeat again.

So if this were to ever happen
And you could make a wish come true
Just come to me and ask me
And I’ll tell you what to do.

Let mine be the wish you choose
You’ll be glad you did you’ll see
Cause then I’d be a wealthy man
And you could work for me!
