My wish
Don't wish me back that’s to cruel don’t be so mean
Don't wish me back here don’t you dare do such a thing.
My time on earth has been great and I regret it none.
My life is rich because I’m loved well beyond the sun.
I can tell by your looks that you wish I was the Same.
Helplessly I watch the tears fall down your face like drops of rain.
Please know that I’m here even if my body is slowly giving way.
You may think life isn't fair but our memories together will always last more than a couple of days.
Please be patient with me as life teaches us all something new.
Please show up sit down hold my hand and know that I still love you.
One day God will call me home to the place he has prepared for me.
I’m ready to see my savior who's arms are always open for me.
When its finally my time to go Please don’t run and hide.
Hold my hand kiss my cheek as I finally get off this earthly ride.
No one can prepare you for what happens when your body gets old.
But one thing is for certain I am ready to walk those streets of gold.
Please don’t be upset because i am ready for a life of new.
Just bow your head and pray for me Just as I did for you.
Please don’t pray that I stay on earth and have more time.
Pray for peace and that the lord's will be done and not thine.
Please don’t wish me back when my body gives way and I finally do expire.
Take joy in knowing I'll be home where my heart long desires.
In the mean time don’t be upset if staying strong I can not.
Please remember the great days and always, forget me not.
Days come and go and the minutes on the clock slowly go by.
I long for the day when I see my savior just beyond the sky.
I have been ready to go home for a while whether it be day or at night.
So when I’m sleepless please hold me & assure me that everything is going to be alright.
