My Wish

If I could stop your tears
If I could calm your fears
And heal your heart,
so singed by hurt
If my arms could protect you
From any possible harms
If my love could assure you
Of the value of your charms,
And if wishes were granted
As I saw fit,
We'd be together,
the love-light lit...
Time's power would fade
Before such a strong bond
And the love we've made
As if with magic wand
And all you wish would be true
This would be but the start
Of my loving you.

Oh, to touch your cheek,
All the ecstasy I seek.

If my wish was granted
To look in your eyes
See how passion tries
To grant your wish of love.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
