My Violet

My chosen solitary Violet from a bouquet of barbed roses displaying her natural beauty with a little love and care exposing her variety of petals of colour and shapes with inner passion, luscious looks a true reflection of a Violet in full flourishing glory and perfect scent her soothing, swaying saunter in natural flora style fine hairs on my body and shivers down my spine sent, her presence satisfying spectators without pretentious appeal staring expressions to undress this natural loveliness not necessary. Turning the focus abruptly from conversation to natural beauty surrounded by withering, wilting blossoms revealing their thorns, in awe and proud of my love for a unique flower I selected this Violet among the eagerly chosen roses is finally mine.

I'm sure you'd rather have a shrinking violet who is true to you than a rose with those vicious thorns Mark. Great poem for the contest I think this will appeal to Cas:-) hugs jan xx

she may be a shy violet but she shines among them all. So nice, Mark!
