My View

Try as I might it is harder than ever to get life right, Almost as if every battle is harder to fight. Supposedly that’s the way life is supposed to be, They say how can you appreciate it if you get it for free? My answer to that is what the gift is and who is the giver, And what is the gift they are trying to deliver! There was a man a while back who upon Calvary gave us the greatest gift of all. He died for our sins, and opened the gates of Heaven, He took the fall. But it was and is His gift and is given freely to all who wish to receive, The only stipulation or cost is that you trust in Him and believe. Our founding fathers who started this great nation, They believed in our Lord without hesitation. Before battle or any major decision they sought counsel in prayer, To make the right choice, they knew where to turn, who would care. The guidelines they laid down for this country were not written in haste, But followed in God’s Commandments all in good taste. So why are we so bent in turning from such strong and faultless values I don’t understand, Greed, ****, violence, and drugs seem to be the new agenda for the land. If it’s black paint it black and if it’s white paint it white, And if it’s wrong and you know it, why not stop it, why not make it right?
