My Vice

It was fall when we thought we had it all
Two people: one innocent, the other not.
A red dress shirt for your interview
A grey uniform for my new school.

Staring into your deep crystal blue eyes
I wouldn't have ever guessed you'd be my vice.
You had bad intentions that I was to blind to see
thinking that you're the one for me.

Smoke filled my lungs when you were around
My heart beat quickened
feeling your fingertips trace my skin

Its been two years
and I don't know where you are.
I wonder if you still think of me
when you're sitting by the fire, tracing the stars.
I hope you are well,
I'll be missing you.
