My Very First Kiss
When I stole my very first kiss
my heart was pounding in my chest;
as feelings go, it was the best.
My life was filled with instant bliss;
as though I were floating on air,
without any worries or care.
I didn't know it could feel like this,
it is beyond my wildest dream;
and feels so good, I want to scream.
Nothing in my world was amiss;
having passed my initial fright,
everything suddenly felt right.
My first kiss was hard to dismiss;
I'm wearing a permanent smile,
and strutting with pizzazz and style.
When I stole my very first kiss,
my life was filled with instant bliss;
I didn't know it could feel like this.
Nothing in my world was amiss;
my first kiss was hard to dismiss.
