My Valentine

My Valentine!
                           Let’s have our first date
                                        on St. Valentine’s Day!
                                       Darling! What do you say?
                              First kiss I do expect
                                        on St. Valentine’s Day.
                                        Sweet Heart! I wish and pray.
                               Dear! How long can I wait?
                                        On St. Valentine Day,
                                         to propose, no delay.
                                Dear! you must accept
                                          red roses in array
                                          on St. Valentine’s Day.
                                Darling! I love you best  
                                         Don’t put me in dismay
                                         on St. Valentine Day,
                             My Dear! Be passionate
                                           bubbling,not inert clay
                                            on St. Valentine Day.
                           My love! you are perfect.
                                      Be mine and be gay
                                      on St. Valentine Day.
