My Valentine
My Valentine
As I wander through this life
of so much pain and strife
I was blessed to find the one
Who brings joy and gives me fun.
I had to come to the place
Of forgiveness and of grace
A gift so undeserving.
It was all so unnerving.
This gift you see was Wayne.
To heal up all the pain,
From a broken heart before.
He opened up the door.
He made me see so clear
That love was not to fear.
That tears could be for joy
Not only to destroy.
He shared his love with me,
And truly made me see,
That I was worthy of a love
That was surely from above!
We walk together hand in hand.
He cheers me on and helps me stand.
We are each others better half,
Who understands and makes me laugh.
This Valentine will you be mine?
I’ll love you through the end of time.
I’m grateful for this gift of you
To fit my Cinderella shoe.
