My Valantine Card

Sorry world
there is only one girl
that I can send this to
not by letter nor by phone
or what people usually use
but by my heart I send my tidings
and Valantine respects
from my heart I send to heaven

       "A Valantine Regret"
No one here to take your place
that I could give this to.
But wraped up in the truest love
I give my heart to you.

(For April)

Dear John, You must be missing someone very special today, and through this very heart stirring poem, you have reminded me of the many patients I see at the hospital where I work who are also missing their loved ones too. This is the VERY FIRST POEM on SOUP that I have wanted to print. Happy Valentines 2 U. Your kind words regarding my novice writing were much appreciated too. Gwendolen Rix

Very tender and warm. You are so faithful. You must know, though, that we did get a couple of feet of snow. Glad you were happily short-changed. Love, Dave

That's a lovely Valentine for April, John. I'm sure she is smiling down on you now, knowing how much you loved her. I'll be out of town with Dane Ann for a couple days -- leaving tomorrow morning. Wish me luck, my friend. Love, Carolyn
