My Unseen World

Darkness, melancholy, and fire
are my life
after seeing the truth of the world
I am no longer a candle that can be lit by hope
as I severed my wick years ago
Angels don't notice me
My knife reminds me how many days have gone by
as I count every line on my wrists and neck
Blessings burn and disappear
Everyone near me, I stay away
Hands that reach out, I reject
All tears from my close, I ignore
My heart had already faded in the wind
turning my soul black

Don't worry. I usually don't write poetry to show emotion, but to display creativity. In this instance, I wrote this for a contest.
