My True Passion

Finding peace in the things I do
So many things not enough time
Aspirations are what I view

Like a mountaineer ready to climb
Motivated by the things my mind sees
moving quickly yet stop on a dime

My workshop like a hive ready for bees
Materials, tools, and ideas, no confine
Like an arborist climbing the tallest trees

Seeing ideas that are so much like mine
Blending them all to make something new
knowing that any new idea will be fine

Unlimited hours are down to a few
I must eat and sleep to keep up my health
Balancing obligations I have too

Knowing the outcome is spiritual wealth
Wondering if I really have any clue
Working slowly and then with more stealth
For creating is the way to myself I stay true

Great poem Christine: My true passion is photographing monarch butterflies as well as nature. I believe any nature photo is worth seeing, as long as it means something to you. Nice write.
