My True Friend
A friend in need,
Is a friend indeed...
This wise quote,
Best defines the countless times,
You've stood by me,
No best of words best define what you are,
Having a friend is something else,
But having that one true friend is a special gift to behold,
Your co existence is of essence,
Ever since our child hood days,
Your image has always been admirable,
I have always admired your footsteps,
Am proud enough to atest you are my role model,
I compose this simple poem,
To whole heartedly acknowledge you,
For everything you've done for me,
I don't take for granted,
Someday when light shines upon me,
Believe me not,
You will be my immediate confidante,
I celebrate you brother...
I dedicate this poem to my best friend 'Mark'
