My True Blue Sky a Revision

I'm taking pictures

Underneath my skin

I’m taking pictures

Of the places I'm in

I keep your image

Deep within my heart

With every falter

Of a broken start

I’m living questions

I forgot to ask

I'm finding meaning

In the daily task

I'm being stable

In the fiercest storm

I'm living answers

In a brand-new morn

I won't forget you even

If I neglect to hear

The thunder steps

Behind each sad year

I'll live each moment

As I think of you

I'll take my chances

On a broader hue

You’ll have me back

For an honest price

I’ll keep on tracking

With a brand-new life

I can’t consider

All the sites unseen

I’ll live each day just

Like I'm in a dream

So take this script

Of all the sky above

I’ll think of you each day

My true-blue love

You’ll be my backdrop

As I turn the page

I’ll keep on pressing on

In an anxious age

You’ll have me back

This I guarantee

We’ll walk together

Like we been set free

My true-blue sky

Is in the air

I love you babe

You are so fair

I’ll take you with me

Until the day I die

I'll see you again

Under a true-blue sky
