My Treasured One

I'll sing this song to you my sweet
In days which have not come
So full of love you are my treat
You are my treasured one

How can we not soon meet my love
With words so soft and true
I know the beating of your heart
I wait my love for you

You brought alive a sleeping soul
With words you thought not fair
But little did you know my love
You had me in your snare

Now I do not wish freedom dear
I hope we never part
I give to you my kingdom dear
The key is in my heart

I'll sing this song to you my sweet
In days which have not come
So full of love you are my treat
You are my treasured one
