Need to improve upon my self-control

I’m as sheltered as the rain upon the rooftop
I’m as sweltered as ever and driven awfully insane
I’ve given up and giving in to endless sins in mind that won’t stop
Hurting me inside…it’s a turbulent road, a shadowy lane
