My Thoughts
My thoughts run deep
So deep I can’t sleep
The way they wind
Continue to grind
Through my mind
Extensions of fears
Memories of past tears
Further my determination
To have self realization
Past used to fuel future
As I control new venture
Navigating uncharted water
I have become a self-starter
Or have I always been
Myself I have to prove again
If I can put action in motion
Turn these paper thoughts
Into real life devotion
