My Testimony

When they thought you had rejected me,
That was when you appeared.
When they thought you had given up on me,
That was when you gave me a helping hand.
When they though the cross was heavy for you to bear,
That was when you said it was for my sake.
When they thought I was walking in darkness all by myself,
That was when you showed your radiant light.
When they said they had defeated me,
That was when you stepped into the battle.
When they thought I was wayward and had no dream,
That was when you showed me the way and gave me hope.
For you are my testimonies;
The song I will forever sing.
My Lord, my king, my treasure,
The one I look and measure.
Jesus is your name,
And Christ is your title.
You are beautiful to me.
