My Tears Freely Fall

I could tell by the way you check your watch,
That a hurry was on your mind,
Before too long you were gone,
Still I wonder why my tears flow freely,
It is not that you are gone,
Because I will see you again.
It is because I have been selfish,
To a heart I held in my hands,
Beating like a band,Now you are gone.
My hands still glow with anticapation.
I hope to hear from you once again
