My Sweetest Joy
A look
from you and
suddenly my
mind just isn’t
the same
It empties
out, erases
blank, and then
it pictures you
But when
you’re gone
the feeling leaves
as suddenly as
it came
My mind
comes back,
your picture’s
gone, my sweet
joy is through
