Notes About The Poem

My husband and I have gone through physical
trials the last seven months. I had a heart attack
in June and had a triple bypass heart surgery,
and my husband fell and broke his hip and has
had two surgeries. He was in a physical therapy
home for a while but, he is home now and still
trying to be able to walk without a walker.
But, GOD is in control!

My Sweet, Sweet Daughter, Karen

I have a sweet, sweet daughter named Karen
who is a blessing wherever she may go,
she thinks and she prays for many of MY children
and I let her know what it is that she can sow.

It might be food, or healthy products
or could be perfumes that make MY children to smile,
and because I know that for ME I can trust this child
to go an extra mile.

Karen, herself has gone through many trials
which at times the enemy had meant to bring her down,
to stop MY work from flowing through her
but, I wouldn’t let that happen so she would always rebound.

So now, her heart is full of love and compassion
and her prayers to ME she knows I will answer,
for MY ear is attentive to hear what she says
while praying for others as she has been led.

I don’t have so many like her that 
I truly will call MY own,
but she is always trying to 
bring others I know to MY precious Heavenly home.
