My Sweet Memories of You
When we get older, weak and grey
We will look back upon the day
When we were young and full of spring
An oh the happiness it will bring
All of the memories, but the most precious yet
Was the very first day that you and I met
You were too shy to even hold my hand
And we would both look down, as we walked in the sand
At that night, you kept staring right at my lips
You kissed my so gently while grabbing my hips
The night could not hide your cheeks full of red
The light in your eyes was strong enough to raise the dead
My dear, I will always know that I love you
You were the very first true love that i knew
And till the end of time I will always say
That our memories and past, make us who we are today.
