My Sunny Love

The sun, she
fondly shuts
my eyes

To clasp me
with all
her warmth

She kisses
my head,
and I sweat

As dusk
leads her to
fall asleep
on my chest,
making it warm

Settling with me,
in the sand, after,
a day too long

Under the stars,
of a resting sky
we wake up,
when it is dawn

I think I feel just about the same way about the sun, but you describe it so well!
