My Sun
I watch your blue eyes shine -so glad you are mine
then reach to touch your face that gleams with sun's warm grace.
You look at me and smile, and for just a short while,
I swear like sun it glows as love from your soul flows.
Your lips I bend to kiss. As soon as I do this,
you wrap your arms round me. Oh, joy, please do not flee.
You need me; I need you. A love like this so true
is meant to stay - to grow! I will not let you go.
Till we are old and grey, next to you I will stay.
Yes, Dear, you are the one who is for me - my sun.
