Written for the reading of my precious Neice Latoya, young mother, living for God, working hard and alone, to provide for her two sons. Although her passing shockingly left us in awe and grievous sorrow, this God given poem was written with hope to focus on the fact that she was finally in the loving arms of a love that would restore, and heal all of the brokenness she ever experienced in this life.

MY SUDDENLY When all I ever wanted was to be loved, to truly know my destiny, to really know just who I am, to understand what was for me. To finally come into my own and be the best me that I can be, my path of life, led me to Christ, and to my suddenly. To understand a father’s love, loving arms embracing me, the look of love within his eyes, and a true love discovery, To be the wife and loving mother, that God would have me to be, my search for love, was found above, my God, my suddenly. I found a matchless love in Christ, who died for my liberty, The love of one I longed to have, mighty Arms now embracing me, My life would never be the same, lost for love, never more to be, I searched the world over, never to find, Until met at heaven opened unto me, in an instant, my Lord my God, I found my suddenly. A door appearing amidst of hopes and dreams, Heaven’s door opened up to me, Within my life’s story, a stairway to glory, the purest light one could ever see, I beheld a land where streets are gold, glorious colors of eternity, joyous songs so sweetly sung, oh so lovingly. Mama, sister, and brother, loved ones, please cry no more for me, Let this peace be yours, as it is mine, please hold in memory. For all I ever longed to have, and hold, is now mine in eternity, In an instant, my hopes and dreams fulfilled, within my God, my suddenly.
