My Style

They say I got my own style. I say it's because I been crawling for miles. Life's ups and downs has made me so versatile. I'm trying to stay sharp using my mistakes like a file. I know the way that I write is not really ideal. So I just write what I want and however I feel. And with nothing to lose everything I write is for real. If there's anything left you can just send me a bill. I'm broke but l know how to bend. And I've learned that trust is earned so I only kept one friend. I write every poemsic on my phone so I don't have a pen. I have no room for drama so when it comes my way I mark it return to sender and send. I write rhymes that flow like a river. Carrying my words that I want to deliver. Guess you can say Lil Gary's a giver. Filtering life's hard times just like a damn liver. I hope I'll be around for a while. And I hope everyday I can share my big smile. Waiting on the day a publisher will get my number and dial. And say damn Lil Gary we sure love your crazy real ass funny new style...
