My Strength and Shield

The light that guides me on my way
while breezes blow and flowers sway;
the touch that calms my weary head
when I am hanging by a thread;
the voice that soothes me into sleep,
and urges Him my soul to keep;
for all the blessings you bestow
pray God, may it for e'er be so.

Thanks Daniel... I think the regular rhyming and metrical construction makes for a more pleasant reading experience. For the most part I'm a rhyme and rhythm guy! Best wishes, Keith
