My story live and UNPLUGGED

When I am 90 I will look back and vaguely remember the clothes I wore, the car I drove or the house I lived in. I will reminisce about the places I went, the things I did, and the people I met along the way. My greatest fear is growing old. Not for vanity reasons...I am terrified of looking back and not having anything to show for my life. I will be 29 Tuesday and even just looking back now I only have one good thing that has come from my existence. I want to travel, to gain knowledge and wisdom. I want to be submerged in culture and diversity. I wish only to be open minded and well versed. When my father passed away almost 5 years ago, there were people in attendance at his service that I had never met before. Everyone celebrating his life because he had affected them in some way thoughout his time here. He was simple, country, no money...all he had was all he needed...his heart and his hands. That is my one true aspiration... I want to be like him. All I have ever wanted was, when the time came, to die knowing that I too had affected change in the life of atleast one person. Knowing that their life was fuller and brighter and even just a little bit easier because I was a part of it. I don't dream of fame and fortune... I dream of being the type of person my father wanted me to be. Compassionate and kind. I want to understand the world and life. I want to make a difference!

One never knows even the half of who we have touched in our life times... A simple word, given at the right time... a comment that directs their mind away from pity and stife toward a different point of view at the right time, ect. Simple things. Don't be afaid of not living right... Just live the best you can at the moment... By example others will be touched... Those things make the biggest difference... Great write. Very thought provoking... again.

The past is written in invisible ink. The future waits in anticipation of the wonder of Valerie. You are unique, one of a kind with special gifts that are only yours to give.
