My Story

~~**~~
The darkened days and noisy nights. I needed to find a way to let the pains of life escape. No one was around to listen to my cries. So, I grabbed my pen and I scribed. I freed the emotions I held in. I found places I never knew existed within. I felt feelings I never had felt before, A sense of peace came over my soul. I found my best friend in my pen. Writing is a piece of who I am.

This is fact for me as well! I had terror in my life, early in my life, and I found poetry...which lifted so much off my soul! I was free again to be me! I loved this line, "So, I grabbed my pen and I scribed." it's a great line Cory! And yes, it is peace that comes bubbling out and from that moment on, poetry is your best friend!! Thanks for sharing this great poem with us!! Awesome Work!!
