My Stones
Stones have tripped me up in life,
usually, caught me unawares.
Few with corners, left their mark,
most were smooth from time and wear.
But, had it not been for those stones,
lessons would not have been learned.
I'm grateful for every single one,
as each scar in life, I've earned.
