My Still Voice
Bid me write a poem
For my heart boils up
Wisdom, sense and skill
Emotions trapped in
Everyday’s business
Bid me to sing
Those songs unsung
Lying in books
iPad and phone
For a soul
yearns to hear
my still voice
In word
In song
Speak
