My Star

In my darkest hour
You shone the brightest
My North Star to the Moon
A beacon of unrelenting
Strength and light
And even when the boat
Was lost and sinking
You remained effervescent
An illuminated brilliance
That no darkness could squash
You are the light in my soul

Sometimes in dark times and even in times of light we need beacons to keep us on our paths. These could be people or ourselves who help us stay true north. Enjoyed
