My Star

One day someday I’ll fly away
To furthest star I’ll find a way
A star so far where rivers flow
Where the earth grants seeds to grow

A star so far it burns like ours
A place where minutes turn to hours
A star so far it shines so bright
It pulls the dark out of the night

A place where things can bloom and flower
A place of beauty and a place of power
A star so far where mountains peak
A place where the sky's within our reach

I will find my star on coldest night
When my heart has lost the fight
My star so far will always be a part of my own destiny

A part of you a part of me
A place for all to know and see
My star so far will set us free

Such a place would be magical, simply breathtaking. Your thoughts are dreamy and romantic. ~ Brandy
