My Spiritual Path
As I walk, my own spiritual path to God.
I Feel, the devil is always lurking close by,
Disguised, with a sinful grin he hides his maraud.
His persuasion, although so clever, I'll defy.
My endless love, for God, I will never deny.
Satan tempts me, with the sins, of sloth and lust.
Hoping, his deceitful tricks, will earn my trust.
Only leaving, lingered thoughts, of guilt and disgust.
Then God, comes and wraps me up, in his warm embrace.
Reminding me, not losing my faith, is a must.
I pray, not to stray from my path, to God's good grace.
For once, it's reached, my sins, he'll forever erase.
And until then, I will clod through, the facade.
Walking, my own spiritual path to God.
