My Spiritual Journey

 
" I am on a spiritual journey that I must travel alone . . "
                                                            _ by Constance

      I am on a long quest,
a spiritual journey to understanding;
my path forward will soon be expanding,
for I am ready to find my purpose repressed.
        Time for ego to rest,
and my spirit to be sweetly caressed.

      I must learn to let go,
to find the courage to make my own unique way;
for that is where my higher self will lay,
and there will be no magical wind that will blow.
        No roadmap to borrow,
as I seek my own special tomorrow.

      I will make peace with me,
will embrace the unknown with purpose and courage;
reading books of all kinds will encourage,
I must, will find my third eye and use it to see.
        Thoughts floating filigree,
and can do this while sipping herbal tea !

Evelyn Swartz January 8, 2021 at 5:10 PM I really enjoyed reading this poem. I too believe that there comes a time you must find yourself and the spiritual journey is best taken alone. Unfortunately being alone is very hard for me. We do have to remember that we may be alone physically but God is always beside us to lead the way. Great poem Constance.
