My Spirit My Soul

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem:  My Spirit
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
written: January/1989

When the good Lord
let's my body be,
every clean heart
will burn a candle
for peace -

For I will walk
amid the spirit
of tree's -

And children
near and far
will sing my soul
in some holly field
and valley low -

Every ear will hear
the children's voices,
echoing from
the hills -

And I will rise
upon
the wings
of new birds,
ascending to heaven -

When the good Lord
let's my body be -
