The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

My Spirit Light

place my soul
in a tiny air pocket..

cast me on a gentle
river...

free to roam to float
wherever...

where I come to rest in the reeds
so let it be...

I do not wish to fight
anymore...this tide
will not wash over me...

to cradle on the gentle
surface..to be at peace
on the gentle sway and
...gentle rock...

to float away to fall asleep...
with warm sun flow on my back...

just to be at peace...not a worry
not a thought my body to relax...

my fingers to feel the soft warm
water flow...such peace to render
me...

just to let everything go...
all tension inside of me...

this place I need visit more
often...so precious it can escape...

to remember this beauty inside
us all...our spirit place...

our own private happy place...
where we allow the whole oneness
to come together in balance...in harmony

to allow our mind...body and soul
to rejuvenate...

...to shelter for a while...to become
strong again...to pick up...to go on
with a smile from where...

...our mind our body our soul
left off...

to be gentle...to remember
we dare to dream...for we are
made of some powerful stuff...
