My Soul

My soul is full of bits and ends
And as I grow, my perspective bends

I see a thousand worlds in my mind
I search for what no one could ever find

I know what most wouldn’t understand
Life is more than what you hold in your hand

Is it better to be silent that speak your thoughts?
Is it better to keep to yourself what life allots

I think that life is filled to the brim
With things that are more that neat and trim

I want to remember everything I see
I want to remember what it is to me

‘Cause life is more than what most give
And life is more than what most live

My soul (and life) is full of things that matter to me
Why does no one else see the precious value I see?
