My Soul

Oh, ageless soul,
confined inside me.
Abiding time,
aware of my aging, ebbing.
You wait expectantly,
anxiously hoping
That I will walk right roads
And choose choice pathways
of obedience in Christ.
Thank you,
my soul
for urging me,
nudging me
toward a joyous eternity!
