My Sons

I look at you and I feel intense love.

A love so indefinite that it chokes me from within.
You are mine, I made you.
Finally, something good came from me.

I never understood what love really was, until I had you.

"Finally, something good came from me." This line resonates deep within me. So much of what we do seems to be for naught. But the 'production' of a human being is sch an awesome experience and feat. How can it help but evoke a sense of real worth, if not a kinship with the Creator Himself?! Your poem rouses wonder, Ilana. :) Gershon

That means so much to me Jan, i haven't written anything new since i was 17. This was my first attempt. Posted some old stuff, but I feel something inside of me needs to get out there again. Will keep trying.
