My Song
She held her head high
As we walked.
I told her what I thought
As we walked.
Her long dark hair flowing
With the wind.
Do you think we should go
Our separate ways?
Her lips started to quiver
And she cried softly she
Said " no that's not what I
Want, not at all. " Then I
Began to sing "I love you.
I love you in every way.
Every different day. I need
You and I know you need
Me too. So I stay, I stay
And say I love you." She
Cried again out of
Happiness. I pulled her
Into the darkest corner
And placed a diamond
Ring on her finger.
She said yes. I sang again.
" do you know how much you mean
To me? "
Do you know my heart beats
Unsteady when I'm near you.
I feel you when you're near.
We're gonna marry but when
And then and then.
Honeymoon ever soon.
My sweet my heart
Palpitates. Inside I'm shaking.
This is my promise. It's
Sincere. This is my heart
It's fair.
