"MY SON WILL SHINE AGAIN!"

As I've been plugging through
Most have seen me as strong
But it's been like a dream
Since you've been gone
I keep myself busy
Letting your memories inspire
Trying not to suppress
But harder since the campfire
Last weekend was good for me
With your friends, we reminisced
But it brought reality to this heart
Now I need your face to kiss
Not feeling as much like a dream
I'm realizing that I'm awake
But I will not give up living for you
That would be my biggest mistake
You'd want us to find a way to heal
So I will process thru this pain
One moment, one day at a time
My Son Will Shine Again!!
