My Son

All of five You have changed the way of my world
With bricks and cars and jokes we laugh
Your tiny world is so full of future
Out of you and your sister you are the dangerous one
Your confidence scares me
My protection is over you
Even when you sleep
I have a tiny peak

I love you more than you could ever know
In the world of a five year old
I will teach you how to be the kindest man
The loving father for my grandchildren to come
I will be there for you for ever more
Like the towers we build
We will always have the bricks of mother and son

I adore you
The words you say
You call me your princess that I hold dear
A bond so strong
We will always hold onto
We hug and we kiss that I would miss
If I never had my son

My love to my ADAM x
