Notes About The Poem

My Snowman

The snow caresses the air falling down
Big fluffy flakes not making a sound

The days are short and nights are long
This is the beginning of a winter's song

Flakes falling here flakes falling there
There are flakes falling everywhere

Jack frost kissing me on my nose
It's beginning to blush like a rose

I have my mittens, scarf and my hat
Time to make a snowman short and fat

Rolling a big snowball on the ground
Making this snowman nice and round

I think this snowman is afraid of the sun
His buttons on the front are starting to run

He's now looking upward to the sky
Oh no my snowman is waving goodbye

It's always a joy to experience snow and build a snowman. The highs and unfortunate low of the last goodbye thanks to the sun.
