My Smiles and Frowns

In
                            summer's
                         Nature reign
                   My soft heart burns
To frolic on the beach, nearly naked
But when winter storms with its bitter touch
                     All smiles shivers
                    Snowflake's bang
                           Makes it
                             Worst

Joey, you captured the joys of summer and the strife of winter so well in your poem. (I actually prefer winter because Florida has 9 months of summer heat and I miss the snow.) I'm sure this will do well in Michael's contest! Winning wishes coming your way. Love, Carolyn

I totally agree with you. I adore summer and detest winter. Great contrast poem. Best of luck in the contest.
