My Silver Lining
If a flower spoke
What would you say
If it told you looked lovely
Would you run away
Or would you sit with it until the sun went away
If a flower told you it envied you
Would you be stunned
Would you pick it up and take it home
Put it on display
Or speak another day
You are a flower which speaks vibrantly
Your heart is colorful and your heart is full of light
And your soul is bright as the days sunlight
A flower so full of life that shines through the darkest of night
