My Silent One
in silence
or even with soft taps
of a black or a white key
I see
behind those delicate eyes
attention
calling out to me
and I respond in verse
a meandering of the wonders to be
each thought liberty
a chance to pull
the flickers of existence
into your shell
if only for a moment
listen to the echoes
harbouring for humanity
surrendering to the night
•
so we write
intertwined blood and wine
tracing each other's skin
haiku'd
the moon lifts her head
feint loneliness in her blush
freshness stills my air
I breathe
boy do I breathe
pebbles skipping across
the glass plane of life
I your ripple
in these chapters
so we write
•
it's amazing the miracle of the mind
a suspending with wanders in time
diluted in the strength of my arms
to carry you close ar'ry of harm
